Tomorrow, America turns 250.

In 1776 this country was thirteen colonies connected by mud roads. Since then: the Erie Canal, the transcontinental railroad, Hoover Dam, 48,000 miles of interstate, a flag on the moon. None of it was inevitable. All of it was built.

I'm not a predictor - predicting the future is notoriously difficult. But I don't need a crystal ball to be excited about the next 250. Because the future doesn't get delivered. It gets constructed.

At Edgevanta, we work for the people doing the constructing. Our users literally build this country every day - roads, bridges, highways, dams, site developments, airports. Why do we do what we do? To help America rebuild faster and more efficiently. That's what gets us up every day. And we love to launch, train, and learn in person when we can - so here are some photos from our travels across the country so far this year: the people, the work, and the roads in between.

To everyone reading - estimators, superintendents, owners, crews: you're the reason I'm optimistic. The next 250 years won't be predicted into existence. They'll be bid, staked, graded, poured, and paved. Same as the first 250.
